The relegation battle is shaping up to be one of the most closely contested the Women’s Super League has seen, with just two points separating the bottom half of the table. Newcomers Crystal Palace currently prop up the table on five points, but they are only below West Ham and Leicester on goal difference. Aston Villa and Everton both claimed their first wins of the season at the weekend to move on to six points, while Tottenham are just one point better off in seventh place.
