State lawmaker proposes blocking government agencies from hiring outside lobbying firms

Rep. Brit McKenzie, R-Rogers, has filed a resolution proposing an amendment to the state’s constitution that would prohibit state and local government groups from using taxpayer dollars to contract with outside lobbyists to lobby on their behalf.
